SP-102 Forest Industry Wildland Firefighting
The SP-102 course is designed for implementation within a forest industry setting. It is designed to provide forest industry workers with the required training to be considered “trained and capable” under the Guidelines for Modifying Forest Operations in Response to Fire Danger.
SP-103 Municipal Fire Department Wildland Firefighting
The SP-103 course is designed to meet the training requirements for Municipal fire Department forest firefighting. These requirements are determined by the Ontario Fire Marshall, the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
SP-105-106 Railroad Wildland Firefighting>
The Rules for the Control and Prevention of Fires on Railway Rights-of-Way made pursuant to the Railway Safety Act identify the requirement for railway companies to ensure that suitable measures are in place to prevent and control fires on their rights of way through the training of qualified personnel. The SP-105-106 course is designed to meet the training requirements for Railway Company Employees
